Four people, two cultures, four Chinese restaurants
Chloe Lin, Kai-Chen Lin, Vaun Raymond, Barrie Trinkle
Seattle has many immigrants, many visitors, and a rich Pacific Rim culinary tradition. We plan to explore one part of that tradition by eating at four Chinese restaurants, which will be chosen to provide as broad an experience as possible. This should be easy, since Chinese cuisine is known worldwide for its diversity. We come to this exploration from two cultures, Taiwanese and American; we expect to have a lively exchange about food and culture among ourselves and with restaurant staff, and we will record and review the experience in pictures, words, and video.
